Dureflex® brand film can add valuable characteristics to your garments as a one-step sealant that can be used as an alternative to traditional assembly approaches, while imparting the beneficial attributes of polyurethane film to your products.
Performance Summary
Dureflex® polyurethane film may be used to seam seal over stitched seams, or to replace stitching altogether. As a soft, heat-activated adhesive film, Dureflex® exhibits the stretch and recovery properties desired for active wear, and can be laminated to wide-width fabric rolls or pre-cut garments made from a variety of materials.
Dureflex® film may offer time- and money-saving advantages over the traditional cut-and-sew approach. TPU film provides a continuous, uniform bond that can be more efficient than alternative adhesives and processes. Additionally, because no stitching is used no holes are created, reducing the possibility of leaks, all of which helps create better fitting and performing products.
