Makrofol® and Bayfol® are primarily used in low-voltage applications in the electrical engineering and electronics industries.
The dependable electrical insulation resulting from their high electric strength and cracking resistance ensures reliable electrical operation. Our films are mainly used in the manufacture of housing components, facings and scales on devices. Consequently, their surface quality, printability, scratch resistance and dimensional stability must be excellent.
We also have products such as Bayfol AS-A 2-4 (PDF) that are specifically designed for applications that require the film surface to have good anti-static rather than insulating properties.
