Dureflex® brand film solutions, manufactured by Bayer MaterialScience, are suitable for adhesive and / or top-coating for applications that help preserve the integrity of easily marred surfaces against the punishment of weathering, corrosive, and abrasive conditions. We can supply these polyurethane films to coaters and laminators who fabricate protective films for highly visible cosmetic surfaces and high performances surfaces requiring a robust, invisible protective polyurethane film.

Performance Summary

Dureflex® aliphatic polyester-based polyurethane is a transparent, impact-absorbing and self-healing film that is applied to high-value, easily defaced exterior surfaces. The Dureflex® brand film preserves finishes from marring, pitting, scratching, and chipping due to small airborne debris, as well as degradation from insects, abrasions, and environmental conditions.

The film protects a vehicle's value from the effects of UV, fuel, grease, oil, acid rain, tar, and other influences that mar surface aesthetics. With easy conformability to shapes and angles, Dureflex® aliphatic film protects highly visible vehicle parts, such as front ends, side-view mirrors, headlights, and rocker panels.

High-tech applications for Dureflex® surface protection film include protecting exterior aircraft parts and wind turbine blades.
