Dureflex® brand optical aliphatic polyurethane interlayer is used in the most demanding architectural and security glazing laminations. Transparent laminations constructed with our aliphatic films offer excellent impact resistance for protecting occupants of vehicles, institutions and secure facilities. The properties of Dureflex® aliphatic film make it the preferred choice for the fabrication of ballistic, impact, blast, and hurricane resistant transparencies that include polycarbonate and / or acrylic layers.

Dureflex® aliphatic security film meets the high requirements of ballistic glazing lamination:
- High optical clarity and excellent UV resistance
- Compatible with glass and polymer components
- Contains no plasticizers - will not attack polycarbonate
- Features low modulus, reducing failures of asymmetric laminations on cooling
- Made with a unique surface texture, making the interlayer easier to lay-up in multilayer laminations
- Debulks efficiently, reducing the risk of air entrapment
