Heat Resistance
Dureflex® brand polyurethane and specialty elastomer film can be engineered to meet heat resistance specifications consistent with the UL-94 standard, up to and including a VTM-0 rating.
Dureflex® heat resistant film products offer these advantages:
- Environmentally friendly, non-halogenated flame-retardants
- Reduce flame-spread rate
- Resist ignition
- Available only in aromatic polyether formulations
Applications include: personal protective equipment suits for emergency, military, and law enforcement; inflatable aircraft seat cushions; hot wire and heating pad encasings; mattress covers for institutional and hospitality bedding; camping equipment; and vehicle sound deadening laminate.
