Hot Melt Adhesives
Platilon® H brand hot melt adhesive film is an efficient alternative to powder-, solvent- and spray-based adhesive technologies. Hot melt film is heat-activated, using calendaring, infrared, lamination, and steam welding technologies.
Hot-melt grades are available as follows:
- Copolyamide (COPA)
- Copolyester (COPE), with or without a carrier,
- Polyurethane on a PE carrier.
Platilon H hot melt film products offer these advantages:
- Absence of solvents
- Clean and easy to handle / use
- Continuous adhesive thickness
- Free from plasticizers
- Short cooling times
- Cross linking not required
- Excellent adhesion to numerous substrates

Applications include: complex composite components for the automotive industry; inside roof lining; insulation and door components; seats; insulation materials; textile wallpaper; labels; emblems; wood veneer or Formica® laminate; multilayer sponges; automobile cabins; seam seal tapes; and smart cards.
