Static Dissipative
Dureflex® brand polyurethane and specialty elastomer film can be formulated to dissipate static in standalone or laminated parts, resulting in improved protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD). Additive technology creates a static dissipative network in the film, which remains intact through thermoforming, welding, sealing or laminating.
Dureflex® static dissipative film products offer the following advantages:
- Electrostatic discharge properties for technical environments
- Molecular-scale polymer network, which carries a charge
- Independent of humidity, durable, and cost-effective
- Non-corrosive, and have minimal contamination and out-gassing
Applications include: clean room doors and curtains; medical and / or suspension packaging; laboratory apparel; hose and ducting; pharmaceutical and food processing chutes; footwear; belting; and glove bags.
