As part of the Films organization, the site manufactures polyurethane, polycarbonate, and specialty films where the product portfolio features Dureflex® brand thermoplastic polyurethane and elastomer films, and Bayfol® and Makrofol® brand polycarbonate films. Customers are in an array of industries, including medical, automotive, textile, and packaging where customers reap the benefits of our tradition of building world-class innovative & engineered products. The company offers a unique combination of developmental resources, film manufacturing technologies, production capacity, material science savvy and customer orientation. Development and production advantages are augmented by the company’s joint exploration of new formulations and technologies with Epurex Films, the European-based Bayer MaterialScience TPU and TPE film subsidiary. The company is ISO 9001 registered and operates in a state of the art facility in Western Massachusetts (90 minutes West of Boston, MA and 60 minutes North of Hartford, CT).
We employ a customer-focused approach that begins by gaining a thorough understanding of the properties required for the application and the specifics of the manufacturing process you will use to convert the film into composites and / or parts.
