Aygo Control Panel
Plastic surfaces in the interior of vehicles naturally develop a yellowish hue due to exposure to UV radiation contained in sunlight. So when Toyota designed the back-lit heating and ventilation control panels for the new compact Aygo they chose to use Makrofol® UV244 film from Bayer MaterialScience for the film insert molded part.

A new Microsoft® mouse owes its classy appearance to Makrofol® DE1-MM film. The mouse housing is made by Uniplas using film insert molding. During this process, the special film is printed on the back, formed and back-injected with a plastic. Makrofol® DE1-MM has a glossy outer surface and a very fine micro-matte (MM) inner surface.
